Living in the presence of the challenge, joy, and fulfillment that interacting with music can generate is one of the greatest possibilities of our humanity. Music is basic to human life. For me, playing, performing and teaching‹living intimately with music and its creation‹is at the center of each day¹s work. As a way of life, it is both complete and infinite. This feeds my daily quest to grow in compass and vitality as a musician, cellist, and performer.
